Kim Farris-Manning was one of 6 composers creating a new Passion Oratorio, using the fragmented poetry of Sappho to create a narrative celebrating queer love and joy, for three choirs, four soloists, string quartet, organ, and electronics. Commissioned by the Sapphonic Collective. Kim also worked on designing and applying drag-inspired makeup to soloists for the performance, which was held on April 5 2025 in Montreal, QC.
