Kim designed and applied makeup and SFX makeup for Stone Skin. Stone Skin is a short film that fuses dance, animation, music, puppetry, and storytelling to follow the journey of a woman who learns to become stone, and is therefore able to travel through the memory of the earth. This artistic work is driven by a desire to understand the enduring nature of our planet, the interconnectedness of all life, and the significance of stones in representing human experiences such as aging, memory, and loss.
