Curator/Artist, Producer/Performer May 30 2025, Nature Nocturne, Canadian Museum of Nature
Curated an art exhibit and produced a fashion show at the Canadian Museum of Nature's "Nature Nocturne". This double feature showcased the creativity of four local drag/burlesque artists who redefine fashion through resourcefulness, circular creation, and love for the natural world. Here, glamour meets the earth. Through upcycling, DIY techniques, foraged materials, and sustainable practices, these artists craft wearable art that honours both style and ecology. Fashion can be accessible, affordable, and mindful of its impact—not only on the planet but also on our communities. By embracing low-impact materials and inventive design, their work embodies resilience, a deep connection to nature, and the powerful ethos of circular economy—where nothing goes to waste, and creativity flourishes without excess. Let their artistry spark new ways of thinking, creating, and honoring both individuality and sustainability.
